Is Google Voice as a Web App an Acceptable Alternative?
When it came out that Google Voice had been refused entry into the hallowed halls of Apple’s App store, there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. While I don’t have a horse in this race, or was driven to riot, I’ll admit to a certain amount of supplying villagers with pitchforks and torches . The New York Times’ David Pogue is reporting that Google is planning on releasing Google Voice as an iPhone-optimized web app

I love Google Voice. There SMS feature really got me into it. I am able to send out free text messages to Bangladesh, India, and USA. It saves me good money on my texting plan from Verizon Wireless because I can utilize that to text. I think Google always does a solid job of giving users what they require and need. I have heard in the future they are incorporating Voice with the Android. Plus they purchased a new VoIP company which they will integrate with the other two to give some quality features. I need to get me a Androind now haha.
