Purely personal blog post this time, nothing to do with Windows or Microsoft… Several lifetimes ago, I was a DJ on WTJU-FM , the free-form/block-programmed radio station at the University of Virginia where the on-air DJ decides what to play rather than a program director (or megacorporations). This Friday, May 4, I will be back to host a 2-hour show of the music of Lucinda Williams during WTJU’s week-long Folk Marathon fundraiser. Tune in and enjoy! Call in and donate! The show will air on Friday, May 4 from 8:00pm to 10:00pm US Eastern time (Saturday midnight to 2am UTC). If you’re in central Virginia, you can hear the show on 91.1 FM. Everywhere else, go to http://www.wtju.net/stream and pick the stream of your choice. (I usually tune in to the 256k Ogg Vorbis stream using Foobar 2000 .) If you miss the live broadcast, you can listen to the show from the WTJU Tape Vault for up to two weeks after it airs.
