SQL MVP Robert Cain has found the perfect use for all those backpacks and bags most of us have stuffed in the corner of a closet—donate them to displaced tornado victims. Robert lives in Alabama, which was one of the states hit by the recent rash of tornados that devastated parts of the southern United States. “Many people have been stranded with nothing,” said Robert.

During Summit Deb and I followed around MVPs with our video camera, cornered them in beautiful locations around Campus, and asked them to tell us about their experience in the MVP program. Indonesian MVP Faisal Henry Susanto has released the first edition of his book entitled, “OCS 2007 R2 Practical Guide”. This book is a comprehensive guide detailing the step-by-step installation of various OCS 2007 R2 roles and features such as Director, Edge, Communicator Web Access, Team Call and side-by-side migration from earlier version. Published by Elex Media Computindo, Indonesia, this book in Bahasa Indonesia has 4000 copies printed for its first edition and is written specially for the Indonesia community

In May 2009, MVPs Jeff Schertz , Mike Stacy , and Dustin Hannifin , along with a few members of the OCS product group, formed a virtual user group dedicated to Microsoft Unified Communications. All meetings are held virtually using Microsoft Live Meeting.
