Worldwide Telescope with KINECT

Microsoft Research held an event on Microsoft Campus called TechFest, where various new projects and prototypes are showcased from their labs.  TechFest is an annual event that allows researchers from Microsoft Research’s locations around the world to Redmond to share their latest work with fellow Microsoft employees.  One of the most amazing projects showcased at TechFst was the Worldwide Telescope with KINECT.  This technology is like nothing you have seen before.  You can glide through the galaxy with the wave of your hand, zoom in to Saturn’s rings, look beyond our solar system to other galaxies.  Travel through both space and time, the entire universe is truly at your fingertips!
