Microsoft cloud delivers education services

Got over the immediate marketplace hurdle, and now the issue with the latest arcade titles downloading is resolved. We still have some newer content we need to get re-added to get it up there, and we are still having issues with the 1 vs. 100 download.

Mulling through a couple of issues

We did hear of a couple of issues after turning things back on, not the least of which were issues with Bungie/Halo 3.  We did experience some network issues between our service and Bungie, which are now resolved.  If you are experiencing any other issues, please post, as we are on the lookout.  Thanks in advance.

I’ve been BUSY!

I’ve been BUSY! I travelled to New York to take some training ( Jeffrey Richter , C# Threading), to Seattle for some more training ( Scott Bain , TDD) to Bar Harbor, Maine for some R&R, then back to Seattle for an internal engineering conference (which I got to speak at). In the middle of all this, I’ve been working on a project based on .NET Service Bus which I can’t share much information about yet. I’m going to start a series of posts on handy extension methods and utilities in the coming days.

If you have one of those cool swively LCD displays (or if you decided to build your own ), you naturally want to tell your video card to display rotated output, so you can take advantage of the portrait orientation. And naturally you would think that calling the ChangeDisplaySettingsEx and using the dmDisplayOrientation field of the DEVMODE structure would do the trick
