Heligoland

If I had to pick my #1 favourite album of all time, Blue Lines by Massive Attack would be a real contender. It’d probably be between that and The Joshua Tree but I have a sneaky suspicion that Blue Lines would win out. I remember a DJ I knew back when I was about 17 telling me that I’d not like the album as it was a bit unusual.

Spotify: Life Without iTunes

Microsoft Orchestra, a Summer concert in Seattle

  Enjoy a Microsoft Orchestra Summer concert at the Ballard Locks on a Sunny Seattle day. I had so many friends in this group which in the last six years has gone from a scary-small 25 to an impressive 82 musicians. And I forgot a pivotal piece of the camera tripod so I had the camera tied by it’s strap to the tripod.

GenevaSound Medium Review

Audiophiles are a picky bunch. They know what they like and if a sound system isn’t up to snuff – they pass on it without any chance for reprieve. We’ve only reviewed one other $600+ stereo and that was the B&W Zeppelin .

TuneUp Update Brings New Features for Obsessive-Compulsive iTunes Users

iTunes cleanup software TuneUp has been undergoing some exciting changes. Last week, TuneUp launched a new UI, and today the company is announcing the availability of the software at Apple Store retail locations in the U.S.

Check out the Silverlight Showcase!

Check out the Silverlight Showcase , there is over 662 applications.  The one I like is the music note match game, see if you can find it in the applications!  There are some great business applications, and if games aren’t your thing, then you might be able to find something that you would like to improve on. Games are coming, but not today.

Play Coldplay For Free

Not a new tactic but not unwelcome either – LeftRightLeftRightLeft is the free live album that Coldplay is giving away on CD to every fan who attends their "Viva La Vida" tour. The band made the album available as a free download from the band’s website this week.
