Грэг Дункан Хэллоуин приближается. Пугание, безопасное хэллоуиновское пугание, людям оно нравится. C# и Netduino тоже нравится.

Грэг Дункан Этот проект кажется простым, но он демонстрирует ряд занятных вещей, вроде добавления сетевого взаимодействия к стандартному контроллеру Netduino (не Plus) и взаимодействие с твиттером в тесном мире разработки встраиваемых устройств.

In previous posts, I had the occasion to show how to implement a web server using HTTP and handling web request (in my example GET requests) with parameters URL like in a real Windows or Linux server running Internet Information Server (IIS) or Apache with a generated HTML page like for ASP.NET, PHP or Java. Of course in couple of Kilo bits of memory, you just can’t do the same as IIS or Apache.

Une bonne nouvelle annoncée hier sur le blog développeurs Windows Phone 7 , qui fait suite à un post sur ce qui arrive quand on met une application à jour vers Mango . Le premier scénario était qu’à partir du moment ou on met à jour une application vers Mango, il n’est plus possible de mettre à jour la version 7.0. Le groupe responsable de l’App-Hub a travaillé dur pour faire sauter cette limitation, et c’est avec plaisir que je relaie la nouvelle : il sera maintenant possible de faire des mises à jour à la fois pour la version 7.0 et pour la version 7.1

Innorobo , c’est le premier salon sur le thème de la robotique en Europe, à l’instar de l’IREX de Tokyo ou de Robobusiness de NYC… Aux manettes, Syrobo , le syndicat de la robotique de service, et cette première édition s’annonce plutôt bien: tout le petit monde de la robotique va se retrouver non seulement dans la zone d’exposition, mais aussi à la conférence parallèle, RoboLift . Il n’en fallait pas moins pour me motiver, trouver un peu de budget chez mes collègues de Bizspark et du marketing de la plateforme Azure , et offrir à Microsoft 18m² de stand… mais que va-t-on y trouver, sur ce stand?

Windows Embedded Standard   allows for very fast embedded OS design and deployment. The list of Out Of The Box drivers is impressive, but in the Embedded space, you are never really “standard” and you will need to get your hands on some specific drivers installation. The folks from Elbacom have created a couple interesting tools that will allow you to automate the extraction and injection of drivers for your hardware

Kurt Kennett has just released a new PowerToy to MSDN Code Gallery – the Powertoy is called DiskPrep – the tool can be used to create bootable media and transfer a Windows CE o/s image to the media – this could be something like USB Key, or even a .VHD file (really useful for demos) – creating a stand-alone VHD from a CE 6.0 NK.BIN file can be completed in just a few clicks.
