世界中から各国を代表する SQL Server プロフェッショナルが一同に会する PASS SUMMIT 2011 が今週、Seattle で開催されています。（ちなみにPASSは Professional Association for SQL Server の略）今週はいろいろと新しい発表があるようですね。このブログでもご紹介していく予定です。 Day 1 の Keynote はストリーミングで視聴できます。 こちら からどうぞ。 170 を越えるブレイクアウトセッションのリストは こちら からどうぞ。すごいセッション数ですね・・・    またイベントに合わせて SQL Server 2012 Developer Training Kit   が公開されました。こちらは SQ L Server の次期バージョンである Code Name ”Denali” に対応した開発者向けのトレーニングキット です。Denali では可用性やBIが取りざたされることが多いですが、ようやく開発系のコンテンツも出てきました。   WEB INSTALLLERでインストールします。         内容 Demo: A First Look at SQL Server Developer Tools Codename "Juneau" Codename “ Juneau ” はSQL Server だけでなく SQL Azureにも対応したVisual Studio ベースの開発ツールです。Local DB、DAC、Entity Frameworkなどと組み合わせることで大きく生産性を向上できます。開発者は要チェックです。 Lab: Build Your First Web Application with SQL Server 2012 and ASP.NET Web開発者向けのコンテンツです。基本的なCRUD（Create, Read, Update, Delete）操作や画像検索などの実装を学ぶことができます。 Lab: Exploring Transact-SQL Improvements in SQL Server 2012 T-SQLまわりの機能追加、改善 についてまとまっていいます。ようやく SEQUENCE が作れるようになりましたね。 Lab: Managing Rich Unstructured Data in SQL Server 2012 非構造化データの機能強化、改善ですね。とくに FileTable 、 semantic search はうまく使えば楽しいかも。  

Quick tip: When setting up your Windows Azure Hosted Services, if your planning on using VMRole instances, with a base image tied to an Affinity Group, make sure your Hosted Service belongs to that specific Affinity Group.   I found out the hard way, sometimes some obvious deployments aren’t so obvious.

HTML5 盛り上がってますね。そろそろ私も便乗しようかなぁと思っていますw   Visual Studio でも HTML5 と CSS3 のインテリセンス、ターゲットスキーマが含まれる Web Standards Update for Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 SP1 の提供が開始されました。詳しくは 物江さんのブログ をご確認ください。 それに合わせて（か知りませんが・・・）JavaScript のライブラリである datajs の Update がありました。このライブラリには JSON や OData、ブラウザのストレージ（In-Memory、DOM Storage、IndexedDB Storage）のデータを操作するための機能が含まれます。   version 0.0.4 での変更点は データキャッシュ関連のAPI やイベントの改善 IndexedDB Storage の対応（正式でなく実験的に追加）、詳しくは datajs store API をご確認ください。   尚、datajs をご存じない方は ドキュメント（英語） が公開されているのでご確認ください。 バージョンが 0.0.4 なのでリリースされるのは当分先だろうなぁと予想していたのですが、どうやら次が正式版（version 1.0.0）になりそうです。基本的に機能や API は変更されないようなので、今回公開されたバージョンは RC のような位置づけなのでしょうか。いづれにしても、本格的に検証できる環境になりますので是非トライしてみてください。   あっ、それからNuGetからゲットできますよ。
