Update Tuesday was yesterday, and it brought a couple of Office:Mac updates. (Sorry I didn’t post yesterday, I was at the mothership in meetings all day.) Office:Mac 2008 12.2.4 has some Excel updates for security, stability, and performance. To install 12.2.4, you must first install update 12.2.3.
I got this question via email: I got my copy of Snow Leopard this morning, backed up my data, and did an erase and install. Now it’s time to reinstall my apps. Is there anything special that I need to do to install Office 2008
Today, we released Office 2008 12.2.1. This release fixes issues where some users were unable to open some of their XML-based files in PowerPoint and Excel. This issue was accidentally introduced when we introduced stronger checking of our new XML-based file formats
