Die erste Xtopia [kompakt]-Roadshow war ein voller Erfolg. Von April bis Mai 2009 waren wir mit der Xtopia im Kleinformat unterwegs: In München, Karlsruhe, Hamburg, Köln, Berlin und Frankfurt erlebten jeweils bis zu 100 Teilnehmer Vorträge und Demos zu den Themen Web, User Experience und Silverlight/Rich Internet Applications. Talk to Students: 1. Springboard Konferenz 2009 in Köln

Am Freitag hatte ich die Ehre an der ersten Springboard Konferenz als Sprecher teil zu nehmen. Die Springboard Konferenz versteht sich als studentische Entwicklerkonferenz und konnte mit 2 parallelen Tracks aufwarten, die den 5. Juni 2009 bis abends um 17:30 füllten.

TechEd 2009 Online: "How to leverage BizTalk Server 2009 as Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)" interview with Danny Garber

We have just announced that previously available from and supported only by the open source .NET community Codeplex ESB Guidance is going to be included into the Microsoft BizTalk Server 2009 Suite with a new name “Microsoft BizTalk ESB Toolkit 2.0″. You can still download it for free from the Codeplex starting as soon as mid-June, but the customer support and continues release of new versions will now be managed by Microsoft BizTalk Server product team.  Watch here attached the interview I was given to the TechEd 2009 Online on the subject of leveraging BizTalk Server 2009 as an Enterprise Service Bus.

Oprah and FIRST Robotics, Microsoft Unlimited Potential

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) Robotics competition is one of those events that is so amazing you just can’t describe.  If you ever have a chance to volunteer, mentor a team, or donate some cash to this organization don’t even think twice.  I volunteered at a regional event at NASA in Ohio and it’s truly life changing.  Oprah recently talked to three all-female teams from this year’s FIRST competition and the winners from 2007.  Read more about their inspiring stories here.
