I attended the Microsoft Tech-Ed event @ Hyderabad (India) on 13,14,15th of May 2009 i.e. the last week. There were a lot of exiting sessions for Developers, Architects and IT Pros.

                  The Tech•Ed 2009 season kicks off next week in LA, and the show comes to Australia and New Zealand in mid-September. We’ve just opened the Call for Content tool so now’s the time to submit that great idea for a session. Details about how to submit are at the bottom of this post.

we met with the folks from Kopin today, who announced the “Golden-I” device here at Tech ED. It’s a great example of a next generation wearable computer device based on Windows Embedded CE 6.0! this device boasts full Voice Recognition, and the ability to playback video and Audio. Here are Olivier and Avet in our TLC booth at TechED demonstrating what it’s like to be one with a device! we can’t seem to get Avet to part with it… I think he wants to be a Borg ! Well, campers, Tech Ed is underway… with our embedded precon yesterday, and all the sessions this week, to the booth in Technical Learning Center… there’s plenty of things to do. Here’s Dion, and the guys from Beckhoff, the makers of our new real-time “Schtick” demo… we were at the “yardhouse” … wonder why it has that name?

  2009 BI Conference Update: We heard from our customers and partners that due to global economic constraints to travel budgets worldwide, we should make the BI Conference a biannual event. The next BI Conference that was scheduled for October 2009 will be moved to October 2010 in Seattle, WA, and all further BI Conferences will be held every second year on an ongoing basis.
