Minister Jodi McKay MP keynoted a recent Females in Telecommunications & Technology luncheon to celebrate International Women’s Day. During the event, she highlighted one of the biggest challenges facing Women in Technology: One in five Australians studying to work in ICT was female, and the number is currently in decline.

After much suspense we can now reveal that at Lunchtime on on Wednesday the 8th of September, Tech ED Australia will be hosting the Women Build LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY (LSP) as the Women in IT event!! There has been such an amazing response to these events as they have been held at previous events that it is indeed a very exciting opportunity to get involved! The Women in IT function at Tech Ed this year is specifically designed to address the decline of female talent and leadership in the IT industry.
